Xero uses an automatic clock service to set the time, as do most mobile device service providers, so we recommend you allow your network provider to set the time automatically. I'd really like to see Xero introduce the option of two factor authentication as Google and Dropbox have done. While I love Xero, as it's xero turn off 2 step authentication becomes larger and larger, security could become an issue. For those who don't know 2FA is an additional layer of security on top of a username and password, whereby a one-time password is generated for the user to input with each session or even per machine.

Given the sensitive nature of the information people hold on Xero bank account information, payroll data etcI believe more security is better than less security. Having 2FA as a pre-emptive measure could be very smart i.

This is something that could be considered. Take a few minutes to watch this video which explains how to get it all set up. For more details have a read of our Help Centre page. Over time, we're looking to make this a mandatory process for all users on the platform - Beefing up security and keeping our users data safe. Keep an eye out on the idea over hereto hear more as this goes live. Show all xero turn off 2 step authentication.

I agree I would definitely support that. One of the attractions is xero turn off 2 step authentication I can log on from anywhere, so it would need to be something that can still travel without the need for a device - maybe a code-generator app on a smart phone.

But I xero turn off 2 step authentication the idea of authenticating детальнее на этой странице machine as well - I basically use 3 devices, and anything else could require a code. Peter - Google have an authenticator app which works really well.

I know there are at least two others that also work. For people without smartphones, there is also the option of an SMS generated code.

Maybe its just me, but I expected this to have loads of interest and and attention. Thanks for the suggestion - very good. We do have interest and attention on logging in but as you'll see it's to make logging in quicker - 'Remember me' checkbox on Xero login page. At moment, security for Xero is посмотреть еще that great. I can't believe that this isn't really close to the top of the "must-have" improvements.
